Consuelo's Beauty Salon Academy and Consuelo's Beauty Salon both offer hair styling and coloring services from two convenient Manassas VA locations. Hair styling options are provided for men, women, and children of all ages.  Consuelo and Alex have been proudly serving the residents of Prince William County for over 8 years with consistency in results and with the professionalism you would expect from any fine salon. The Beauty Salon on Mathis Avenue is close to Manassas Park serving the north end of Manassas. The Beauty Salon Academy, located off Liberia Avenue, is very convenient to the southern end of Manassas.

Mrs. Consuelo Ceron is the owner of these establishments.  For the past 16 years, she has owned and operated two successful hair salons near Manassas Park and the City of Manassas.

Her stylists are trained in the latest hair cut techniques to stay on the cutting edge of hair care and creativity. At Consuelo's, your hair stylist is a real hair expert who is able to understand what your hair needs and will work with you to plan a complete home regiment for continued treatment.

Our approach reflects the latest in great looks and fashion while keeping the process very simple. First, we know your hair needs to be healthy in order to reflect light. It must be cut in a way that it is easy to style with some versatility and daily options. If there is a desire to use color enhancement, we ensure the selection will compliment the client's skin tone, the style of the hair cut, and used to add reflection of light with added dimension. Our approach is to ensure the cut and color is flattering and in line with the client's taste.

	Beauty Salon Academy Are you interested in becoming a licensed beautician?  Consuelo Ceron is a Commonwealth of Virginia licensed cosmetologist and instructor teaching certified courses in: Cosmetology Nail Technician Hair Extensions Permanent Make Up Beauty Salon Academy Courses include morning and evening class options, Monday - Thursday.

Competency Base Program - What is it? 
This program is designed to assist an individual who has a background and /or skill in the beauty industry and is seeking to get a valid Virginia Cosmetology License, but never went to the State Board of Exam. This could be someone who is a stylist in their native country and has moved into the United States or someone who has been doing hair for a while but never received their license.

How does it work?
The individual will set up an interview with Consuelo's Beauty Salon Academy to determine eligibility for the program.  The individual will be tested by Consuelo's Beauty Salon Academy to determine their skill level.  Once that has been determined, Consuelo's Beauty Salon Academy will determine the appropriate action plan to meet the student's needs and to satisfy the requirements established by the State of Virginia.  Once Consuelo's Beauty Salon Academy and the student feel they are ready, the individual will take the licensing exam instituted by the State Board of Cosmetology.  After satisfying all requirements by the State Board of Cosmetology, the individual will receive their license.

What is required?
The student is required to take and pass the Virginia State Board of Cosmetology examination to receive their license.  The student is required to have paid all related fees for tuition to Consuelo's Beauty Salon Academy and any other requirements as needed. Fees charged include enrollment, kits, books, and supplies.
